NIGEL HANNANT

Born:

6th January 1971

Nigel Hannant - 1 May 2000

Place of birth:

Norwich, Norfolk, England

Employment:

Director of Global Internet Marketing, Baan - An Invensys Company

Interests:

I have many and varied interests including the Internet, reading, listening to music and watching TV.  Not to mention slightly more active pusuits in golf (though badly) and squash.  See some of my latest purchases below.

Reading:

Buy at Amazon!
This is an excellent, readable book on web site design and usability.

Buy at Amazon!
This is a 'heavier' book on the topic of web usability, but does base a great foundation on which to build knowledge on the subject.

I am a huge fan of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, in fact I have a copy of every one!  His latest softback release is The Fifth Elephant which is a particularly good one.  Click here to see a list of all of Terry Pratchett's offerings at Amazon.co.uk.

Videos:

Buy at Amazon!
A fabulous story and special effects treat, this will go down as a modern classic and has already been seen many times.

No 'male' video collection would be complete without the Star Wars trilogy!  I can still remember watching the originals at the cinema and 'flying' out of the cinema pretending to by an X-wing!!

Buy at Amazon!
Great, an excellent pre-cursor to 4,5,6 with a really solid story line (though you do need to watch a few times to keep up) and I can't wait for number 2!

I have had a deep fascination with World War II ever since one of the few German bombs dropped on Norwich during the war destroyed my Grandfathers bakery.  This set of videos brings home the stark and tragic reality of war presented in an unbiassed, factual manner.
